Another word that comes to mind is reciprocal. You have an uncanny way of matching energy and adapting to the present day current needs of the person. Even the language and approach you use are custom tailored to what’s needed in the moment. You’ve used my phrases and stories with me at times and it makes me feel seen, heard and deeply understood. Sometimes it can bring levity too which can be needed in serious discussions, i.e. when you say “Fuck all the way off!” or ‘Ian mean muggin’ in the corner”. You’re always the perfect sounding board because you help people clearly see themselves and their options. I have benefited from your energetic volleying of infinite ideas countless times by now and am forever grateful for it!

Another would be solutions-based. Even when you’re passionate about an idea or subject, you still remain neutral in the outcome for the person, because you know it is their own path to walk. So you have a way of engaging with intensity and gusto, yet still not being hard set on one fixed result. It helps to be able to navigate tricky circumstances and think on your feet. It allows for on the spot adjustments and adaptations to achieve the overall goal without getting stuck or lost in the details. A perfect example is when you say, if it’s feeling frustrating, switch up your approach, step back and problem solve or leave it alone til later when you can come back with fresh eyes. All this has the overall effect of non-attachment. You have deep compassion for the people you work with and deep care for the projects you’re involved in but it allows you to be more focused on their highest good than ever trying to force 1 intended end game. I think this is very rare and only comes from seasoned professionals and those in the mastery stage of their craft…
